Finding some items during our clean up. If you left anything, just let us know. Especially measuring cups. I will post pics as I find them. Let me know if it belongs to you!
We came up a little short after our first event. As many of you are aware, due to the moisture in the air yesterday and the damp surface, we lost a number of bags after they were assembled. We also had a shortage in candles, most likely due to miscounts during pick-up. We are looking to collect an additional $220. Please consider helping us out to recoup some of the extra costs incurred. If everyone contributes a few dollars, we will quickly hit our number. Anything extra given over this amount, we will put towards our event next year. Thank you in advance!!!
We can't even begin to describe how amazing this night was and how everyone pitched in and really made this an all-out community effort! We could not have pulled this off without all of the helping hands. Really.
We would like to give special thanks to our neighbors, Kerry and Steve Burger. They took care of ordering and bringing us all of the supplies to make this happen. Constant trips to the hardware store. Constant back and forth for our ever-increasing luminary numbers. Not to mention our emergency orders due to some trouble with many of the bags ripping! Thank you! Kristine and her son Charlie! Thank you! They managed the food donations for the Somerset Food Bank and loaded up their car to drop off all donations! Special thanks to G. Deluca and Sons Masonry & General Contractors. We were short on sand and they offered to completely donate and deliver an entire truck load of sand for us. This night could not have happened without their help. They do great masonry work and are new Warren residents. Please visit their website for your Masonry needs. http://www.gdsmasonry.com/ Thanks to the Warren Police Dept and Lt. Paul Dziedzic! They put up a sign on Wilderness Trail to help warn drivers to slow down and drive carefully through our neighborhood. They also had a few on patrol this evening just check out our streets to make sure everyone stayed safe walking around! And of course the Fire Dept. While luminaries are safe, it is nice to know that they were ready to jump into action if necessary. No one is forgotten. ALL of you made this happen! Many of you just showed up and served under the radar. We are so appreciative and love our neighbors. Thank you! - Devin and Carlos When

In addition to your own eyes and ears, some officers on patrol tomorrow will be periodically driving through our streets as well to help us stay safe.
Yes, the lights look stunning when there is no break in the lights between houses. However, if you notice that your neighbor is not participating, please do not put down any extra luminary bags on their property without asking them first. Yes, I know it is tempting, but let's make sure to respect everyone's property and privacy. No bags for vacant homes either please.
